We’re seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers.
- Package products safely and securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation in compliance with shipping regulations.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to guarantee products meet established standards and specifications.
- Notify your supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions promptly.
- Record all shipping activities in the inventory management system and update stock levels as needed.
- Complete any other assigned tasks to support smooth operations.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) to manage communications and documentation effectively.
- Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to support team collaboration.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Assist in keeping the receiving area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in shipping within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and computer applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive, supportive workplace.
