POSITION SUMMARY:
The Non-Op JIB Supervisor is responsible for supporting the company’s non-operated joint interest billing accounting functions and ensures that expenditures are recorded within the framework of Talos Energy Inc.’s policies and procedures in compliance of applicable regulations. Job duties extend to supporting the monthly close functions, including the creation and analysis of non-operated accruals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train on non-operated processes and mentor
- Review and post all non-op invoices and entries
- Facilitate changes within the EnergyLink system
- Monitor and resolve non-operated disputes in a timely manner
- Assist Land with non-operated AFE and deck setups
- Create and analyze non-operated accruals
- Assist with journal vouchers affecting the non-operated department
- Review non-operated account reconciliations
- Ensure critical payments are sent timely by working with AP / Treasury
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal staff
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Minimum of 8 years’ accounting experience in the Exploration & Production oil/gas industry.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Experience in BOLO accounting system preferred
- Experience in Energylink and Docvue invoice system preferred.
- Possess strong analytical skills.
- Able to perform detailed work with speed and accuracy.
- Able to organize and prioritize a diverse and heavy workload consisting of many detailed, separate procedures and deadlines.
- Creates strong work relationships.
- Communicates effectively, both orally in person and using a telephone and in writing.
- Recognizes personal strengths and weaknesses and be proactive in self-development.
- Has a strong sense of integrity and the ability to deal with ethical situations effectively.
- Willing to work a demanding and flexible schedule.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time and have use of arms and hands in repetitive motion. A fair amount of standing and walking is also required for the position.
