Senior Analyst, Operations - Specialized Servicing

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage and service high-value, complex, and PIK (Payment-in-Kind) deals, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with the CAG team to oversee non-earning deals, handling them with specialized attention and care.
  • Process ongoing transactions ensuring accuracy in servicing and the identification of potential issues.
  • Track and report on deal performance, providing insights into any potential risks or issues that need resolution.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as CAG, Finance, Funding & Settlement, and the Credit teams to resolve issues and ensure a seamless servicing process.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to other teams on complex deal structures, ensuring proper interpretation and application of terms.
  • Continuously evaluate existing servicing processes for inefficiencies, recommending improvements where necessary to enhance overall service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively identify potential issues before they become problems, mitigating risks associated with complex and PIK deals.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records for all serviced deals, ensuring that all relevant documentation is up-to-date and compliant with internal standards.
  • Review legal documents to verify system compatibility and collaborate with Deal Teams to assess if any modifications are required.
  • Perform manual calculations when needed and ensure proper documentation is maintained for audit purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • The ideal candidate will be an analytical, self-motivated, and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Bachelor’s degree, with a preferred concentration in finance, accounting, business, or economics
  • 3-5 years’ experience with a financial institution or other organization with exposure to reconciliation processes
  • Strong understanding of Loan Operations with some exposure to Asset Management and or Structured Products
  • Knowledge of LoanIQ or WSO a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 with emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel usage or comparable software application.
  • Motivated self-starter with a responsive, friendly, and professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be decisive, highly organized and prioritize tasks including the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust priorities as needed in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work productively in a cross-functional team environment with both internal and external stakeholders while taking individual responsibility for quality and accuracy
  • Proven record of reliability and dedication to high quality work product

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
