Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Services Leader to lead our data services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, analytics, and data integration. As the leader of our Data Services Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the data services team, ensuring data quality, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the data services team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Develop and implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems and platforms.
- Oversee data integration and ETL processes, ensuring efficient and accurate data flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data needs and challenges.
- Drive the development and maintenance of data models, databases, and data warehouses.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and data-related metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics; Implement and promote best practices in data management and integration, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with established internal standards.
- Proven ability to manage a large data services team and implement new strategies to create efficiencies in data cleansing and data integration
- Work collaboratively with a global team, managing projects and communication across different time zones and cultures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in data management, data services, or a similar role.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of data professionals.
- Strong knowledge of data management tools, databases, and analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing data management best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
