Job Description


The Business Analyst (BA) for the Salesforce team is accountable for ensuring that the completed scope of work performed by the Salesforce technical team fully meets the purposes for which it was initially requested. This includes meeting with the requestors of enhancements and break-fixes to understand related strategic objectives, and impacts to user, documenting business requirements including use cases, working with the technical team to develop the solution requirements, developing test scripts, leading business testing of the solution and obtaining written sign off the solution in accordance with Longbridge’s Change Management and Project Management governance policies and procedures.

  • Schedule meetings with business stakeholders to elicit business requirements and document current state and future state business process models.
  • Control the requirements management process by creating common understanding of requirements, communicating critical dates for delivering requirements, understanding critical needs vs. nice to haves and maintaining documentation according to the standard agreed process.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to define the sources of data, type of ingestion, relationships, tables, variables, and transformations that may be needed.
  • Assist in the integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the technical team and other SME’s to proactively troubleshoot data quality issues by identifying the root cause of data discrepancies and determining and implementing recommendations for resolution.
  • Work with business counterparts on operational readiness activities to ensure that necessary training and procedure updates have occurred prior to implementation of enhancements and repairs.
  • Develop Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Plan (UAT) and testing in coordination with project and business leads.
  • Schedule and lead business testing efforts, documenting defects and submitting for rework and obtaining written business sign off to deploy to production.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of business analyst experience (i.e., business requirements).
  • Requires a Salesforce BA certification 
  • 2+ years experience with Salesforce
  • Capable of self-managing workload with little to no supervision.
  • Provide leadership and project management in a cross-team environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred but not required
  • Be comfortable juggling multiple projects and constantly shifting timelines in a fast-paced complex environment.
  • Detail-oriented. Able to understand complex information and extract up or down as may be required to communicate to a technical associate or executive with appropriate level of granularity.
  • Effective problem solving through understanding of complex issues and ability to develop creative workarounds.
  • Clear and understandable speaking and writing capabilities.
  • Experience navigating Microsoft SharePoint and Teams document repositories.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio required.
  • Familiarity with Mortgage software, tools and processes preferred.
