Join our Talent CommunityThe Opportunity:The Inbound Customer Service Specialist is responsible for the daily management of orders shipping into the recycling plants from haulers and suppliers.
This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.How you will make an impact:The duties and responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited, to the following items:
- Accurately and timelyentering orders and ensuring all orders are closed within the proper timeline window.
- Setting up monthly pricing call with GM/Sales to review new pricing once PPI is released.
- Ensuring Pricing accuracy on all loads – product, freight, and customer charge back items.
- Communicating and coordinating with Transportation Team to ensure orders are tendered in a timely manner.
- Ensuring necessary supply requirements are on any tenders requiring supplies from plant.
- Daily coordination with plant operations on material to be brought in the following day.
- Coordinating with procurement specialist the movement of material and provide customer support.
- Communicating to procurement specialist and supplier when there are deviations in pick up schedule.
- Coordinating set up of new customers with – sales, accounting, and plant operations.
- Maintainingan up to date Inbound virtual board, and ensuring that new accounts/changes are reflected on same.
- Processing Freight Invoices in cieTrade.
Travel Demands:Anticipated travel is less than 10%.What you need to succeed:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience with cieTrade or equivalent operating system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Ability to work individually or as a team
- Ability to problem solve /handle matters of complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to support continuity of business operation
