About the Job Opportunity


The Business Development Executive (BDE) - Ambulatory is a key role focused on driving growth within our national ambulatory surgery center (ASC) accounts. This is a strategic inside sales position that balances account management with proactive new business development. The BDE will work closely with existing national accounts such as Surgery Partners, USPI, and SCA to maximize revenue opportunities, manage relationships across hundreds of sites, and ensure seamless service delivery.This is a high-volume, metrics-driven role ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to grow within a service-oriented healthcare environment.

What You’ll Do


  • Manage relationships with key ambulatory national accounts, focusing on maximizing value within assigned territories.
  • Execute high-volume inside sales activities to achieve annual targets for quotes and wins.
  • Drive growth through upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, implementation, and customer support to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Conduct regular outreach to site-level stakeholders such as materials managers and district-level contacts.
  • Support on-site activities for initial implementations and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) as needed.
  • Apply a prescriptive, consultative approach to evaluating service opportunities before advancing them in the sales process.

What You’ll Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in healthcare or service-based sales.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and ability to manage large, complex accounts.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed high-volume sales metrics and goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with national accounts and multi-site management is a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
