Position Summary
Crescent Energy is an exploration and production company looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated
Mechanics/Repair & Maintenance Technician to add to our team. Your duties will include maintaining, overhauling, and repairing oil field facility and well equipment. In addition, our ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of construction and essential oil field tools and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be a proactive problem-solver with good communication. This non-exempt position will be based out of our Altamont, UT field office.
Responsibilities
- Pump Repairs and PM
- Recycle, Gear pumps
- Trace, Centrifugal
- SWD, Triplex, H pumps, Centrifugal
- Booster Stations
- Failure Tracking
- Failure Analysis
- VRU Maintenance
- Track/Coordinate Generator Maintenance
- Track/Coordinate Pumping Unit Maintenance
- Trouble shoot Generator issues
- Trouble shoot pump issues
- Participate in the safety meetings, and safety program
- Physically able to repair equipment
Qualifications
- 3 years’ oil and gas experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Must be well organized and can prioritize tasks
- Mechanical certifications, or experience preferred
- Natural gas engine experience preferred
