As a Sales Order Entry Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless order processing, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Using
NetSuite and TrueCommerce (EDI)
, you will manage incoming sales orders, update customers on order statuses, and support the sales team in coordinating shipments.Top of FormBottom of Form
What You’ll Do:
- Process incoming sales orders received via email and EDI portal using NetSuite and TrueCommerce (EDI).
- Verify and confirm order details for accuracy before finalizing entries.
- Update customers on order statuses, including confirmations and changes.
- Assist the sales team in preparing and coordinating sample shipments for customers and trade shows.
- Work closely with the shipping department, ensuring all order information is correctly relayed for fulfillment.
- Identify and resolve order discrepancies or missing information by collaborating with internal teams.
- Maintain organized records of orders, invoices, and correspondence.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to order processing and data management.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 or more years of experience in order entry, customer service, or sales support within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and EDI platforms (e.g., TrueCommerce) in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to double-check work for errors before processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team to meet deadlines.
