The Role
At SellerX, we are growing our Content Department, and we are looking for an Art Director to join our team. This role is based in Hong Kong and requires travel to Dongguan twice per month. You will be responsible for developing brand books, setting up Figma-based design templates, and ensuring brand consistency across our Amazon product listings. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Photography Team to guide the production of brand-compliant, high-converting product images. Sounds exciting? Apply today!
Your Responsibilities in Detail
- Guide the Photography Team in translating image concepts into brand-compliant product images, ensuring consistency in styling, composition, and post-production.
- Develop brand books in collaboration with the brand management team, defining visual identity and key creative guidelines for each brand.
- Create and maintain Figma-based design templates, providing Concept Designers with structured frameworks for high-quality visuals.
- Oversee final image quality, ensuring all product visuals align with brand standards before going live.
- Work closely with Concept Designers, providing guidance and optimizing workflows for efficient brand book rollouts.
- Ensure seamless adoption of design templates, improving overall content creation efficiency.
Your Background
To join our team, you bring along
- 5+ years in e-commerce content design, preferably with multiple across different categories brands (Amazon experience is a plus)
- Brand Development Expertise: Proven experience in creating brand books and defining visual identities for e-commerce brands.
- Photography Knowledge: Strong understanding of product photography workflows, styling, and post-production. Hands-on art direction experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills:o Figma & Photoshop (both are a must).o Experience optimizing workflows with structured design templates.
- Quality Control Mindset: Ability to review and approve final product visuals to ensure compliance with brand guidelines
- Collaboration & Structure: A hands-on, structured approach, with strong consulting skills to work across multiple teams.
- Languages: Fluent in Chinese & English—you’ll be working with teams that use both languages.
