With your expertise in ticketing procedures, airline regulations, and exceptional customer service, you'll navigate the complexities of air travel with ease, ensuring every trip is a smooth and memorable experience.Reporting to the Manager of the Air Operations, the position will be involved with the daily operations of our air department – booking and ticketing air for Mayflower Cruises and Tours’ programs.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Booking and ticketing of air for domestic and international itineraries
- Working with airlines to secure seat assignments and upgrades
- Communication with the inside sales team on: air schedules, seats, and special requests
- Working as a team with other staff within the department
Qualifications
- Sabre and Amadeus GDS proficiency preferred
- Experience with booking and ticketing groups
- Skill with air pricing, booking, ticketing, exchanges, refunds, etc.
- Knowledge of travel industry rules
- Must also be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
