About the role:
We are looking for a FullstackSoftware Engineer with experience to focus on the backend, while willing and able to dive in and contribute across the stack. The successful candidate will tackle a variety of technical challenges, from building features and designing and implementing API methods, to improving the performance and reliability of our systems, which handle millions of ad requests per minute. At Publica, engineers are empowered to make real contributions and encouraged to grow by strategizing and designing features.
We genuinely enjoy collaborating with one another, and value the ability to work closely with product managers, ask lots of questions, and own team features.
You should apply if you have most of this:
- 2-4 years' experience as a Software engineer
- Demonstrable ability to code using Golang
- Experience with Machine Learning- ML is highly desirable
- Experience contributing to technical architecture discussions and helping drive technical decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience explaining technical concepts, and communicating clearly in cross-functional teams.
- Positive attitude towards taking responsibility, learning new tools and technologies, and making immediate contributions to our product
Nice to have:
- Some experience with infrastructure and basic DevOps
- Kubernetes, Terraform
- React, Typescript, MySQL
California Applicants: The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
