About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role demands a unique blend of design and engineering skills—an engineer with design literacy with a focus on creating innovative and technically sound solutions. The Design Engineer will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between design and technology, ensuring that our products are not only visually appealing but also technically robust.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate design concepts into technical specifications.
- Develop and implement creative solutions, leveraging your expertise in frontend development to push the boundaries of what's possible.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that design concepts are technically feasible and can be implemented efficiently.
- Liaise between the design and engineering teams in the organization, acting as a bridge for better communication and handoff.
- Creating a sustainable workflow and process for transforming designs into frontend components.
- Create high fidelity in-browser prototypes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in design or engineering related field.
- Knowledge of modern languages, technologies, and frontend frameworks like Typescript, React, and Tailwind, Three.js and WebGL / WebGPU.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create innovative and technically sound solutions.
- Comfortable navigating design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Passion for visual design and a keen eye for detail.
