About the Job
We are actively looking for an IT Manager for immediate hire. This is a leadership role for successful managing and deploying IT support infrastructure across Systel, Inc. This person will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring that the services are available 24/7 and fully CMCC certified. We are looking for someone who has a strong drive, maintains an absolute ownership of their work, and has an ability to learn quickly on the job. This position is 100% in-person at our headquarters in Sugar Land, TX.
The Work
- Manage IT department and provide leadership for the team.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure.
- Work effectively across departments to ensure IT service delivery against agreed priorities
- Oversee the SLA for support tickets
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other related field
- 5+ years experience in managing IT infrastructure and teams.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong skill and knowledge of
- IT equipment, technology, architecture.
- Cloud based services
- Virtualization
- NIST / CMCC compliance
- Firewalls, security appliances and services
- Managing teams
- Able to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple deadlines, proactive problem-solver, team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop effective business relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
