About the Role:


Nanit is seeking a strategic, analytical Demand Planner to help drive our wholesale and direct-to-consumer business. In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for forecasting demand for Nanit's products across all sales channels (retail and DTC) and geographies (US & international markets). This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating accurate demand forecasts, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, and contributing to the overall success of Nanit's supply chain and demand functions through strategic initiatives and process improvements.

What you'll be doing:


  • Develop and refine accurate demand forecasts across all sales channels using statistical methods, market trends, promotional plans, historical data, and input from Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams
  • Lead the monthly demand forecasting process, collaborating with Finance on sales performance analysis
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to stay informed about market trends, new product launches, and promotions that may impact demand. 
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve forecast accuracy
  • Manage the demand planning process, including regular forecast reviews and updates, while effectively communicating demand plans and performance results to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement inventory strategies with Supply Chain to meet service level targets and optimize inventory turnover while ensuring demand-supply alignment
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of demand planning best practices and participate in cross functional supply chain optimization projects 
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements, champion new tools and technologies, and share knowledge to enhance team efficiency.

Who You Are: 


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in demand planning within the consumer products industry, with experience in both wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales channels
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Calm under pressure, with strong analytical, organizational, decision making and proven presentation skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and ability to balance multiple priorities and projects
  • Have a strong analytical mind-set with an advanced level of Excel
  • Highly collaborative nature and ability to work cross-functionally while navigating through ambiguity and maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for Nanit's mission and products.

This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC 3 days per week. We will consider highly qualified remote candidates.Salary Range: $80K - $90K targeted OTE. The compensation for this role includes an On-Target Earnings (OTE) structure, which is a total combination of base salary and performance based incentives, as well as equity and benefits. This is just one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance.
