Our customers, which include the world’s leading logos, are expanding how they use our platform, driving automation of critical customer service operations and integrating PolyAI into their daily customer service workflows.We’re looking for a high-energy, technically sharp Senior Product Manager to drive the next evolution of our AI capabilities—LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Agentic AI.
You’ll own mission-critical parts of our technical roadmap, expanding the range of models integrated into our platform, developing robust AI evaluation frameworks, and establishing a systematic approach to optimizing RAG performance.If you’re obsessed with pushing AI models to their limits, fine-tuning how they retrieve, reason, and generate, and turning cutting-edge research into real-world, scalable products, this role is for you. You’ll work side-by-side with engineers, ML researchers, and our professional services teams to extend and refine AI models that power industry-leading conversational AI.We need someone who’s scrappy, deeply technical, and thrives on solving complex problems—a builder who loves experimenting, iterating, and shaping the future of AI in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management or technical leadership in Machine Learning or NLP.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with data analysis, model evaluation, or AI/ML system optimization.
- Experience defining AI performance benchmarks and success metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related AI/ML field.
Preferred Qualifications
- You’ve built AI-powered agents, chatbots, or automation tools—whether at work or for fun—using platforms like OpenAI GPT, LangChain, You.com, or RAG pipelines.
- You get excited about pushing AI models beyond their limits—experimenting with prompt engineering, chaining LLM calls, or optimizing retrieval.
- Experience balancing technical problem-solving with real customer needs—turning AI into a seamless, delightful experience.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth AI/ML company (or the willingness to thrive in a fast-moving, innovative environment).
