Job Summary:
The Tax Administrator is responsible for working within our exciting and dynamic tax team by supporting the tax needs of clients. The position requires flexibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions for the Tax Administrator will include:
- Assisting with various tax-season processes including assembling/scanning/archiving data, logging in tax returns, preparing internal forms, preparing pre-tax-season files, e-filing, processing of tax files after mailing, and delivering returns
- Coordinating and communicating with tax advisors, managers, and other team members to perform job functions
- Corresponding with clients by phone (inbound and outbound calls) and by email following up on requests and to gather supplemental information
- Accurately inputting data and transcribing confidential client correspondence
- Maintaining data integrity across all systems, confirming data and making updates, and preparing reports
- Other general administrative duties as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High school diploma required; college degree a plus
- Administrative and/or executive support experience preferred
- Transcription experience a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Work Schedule:
Flexible Remote Schedule - Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Rate: $20/hr
Working Conditions:
Professional office environment, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a workstation.
