Business Development Intern - Dealer Sales Canada

This internship will provide the candidate with opportunity to utilize their technical, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage directly with RouteOne customers, employees, and executive team members in support of RouteOne’s Business Development Team.   The intern will work with a cross section of RouteOne teams including Sales, Operations and Business Development to complete requested tasks.  This individual will work in a dynamic team environment using a variety of systems and tools including RouteOne, SalesForce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.           

Job Responsibilities


  • Make outbound calls to Business / Finance Managers with a focus on driving awareness in the areas of Warranty Integration and eSign adoption
  • Verify that existing documents are current and complete based on the targeted dealer / brand.  
  • Employee will need to work with the marketing and training teams to validate accuracy.  

  • Work with the Salesforce team to create links to all Quick Start Guides records in Salesforce.  

  • Build a database of all active eSign and warranty integration partners and define all functions supported by the partner.
  • Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility.

Knowledge


  • Knowledge of dealership systems, credit processes, and online products a plus. 

Skills


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Knowledgeable in CRM (Salesforce) application
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Visio. 
  • Familiarity with internet/web technologies, tools, and terminology.

Abilities


  • Ability to communicate information and ideas, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve.
  • Disciplined, independent worker with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.  

Other Essential Requirements 


  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or suitable work experience.
