Landscaping Assistant
Griffin Brothers Companies is hiring a reliable and hardworking Landscaping Assistant to support our Lead Landscaper with maintaining and beautifying multiple properties across the Charlotte Metropolitan area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in physical work, and are looking to build experience in the landscaping industry.

What Will I Be Doing?
- Assist with mowing, edging, trimming, and general lawn maintenance.
- Perform debris and leaf cleanup, including use of leaf blowers and other tools.
- Support planting, mulching, pruning, and fertilizing tasks.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment under supervision.
- Help with seasonal cleanups (e.g., leaves, light snow removal, storm debris).
- Follow instructions from the Lead Landscaper and contribute to a safe, efficient job site.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and materials at each job site.
Requirements
Do I Have What It Takes?
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel between job sites within the Charlotte MSA.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Work Conditions: Willingness to work outdoors year-round in a variety of weather conditions.
- Work Schedule: Must be flexible; schedule is weather-dependent and may not guarantee 40 hours per week.
- Dress Code: Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required.
- Attitude: Must be punctual, dependable, and ready to take direction.
- Experience: Prior landscaping or general labor experience is preferred, but not required.
