Airport Restaurant Assistant Manager Requirements:
- At least 2 years of assistant management and / or supervisory experience in full-service restaurants
- Associate degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business, or Culinary Arts
- Ability to work full-time on 8-10 hour shifts including occasional weekends, evenings, mornings, and certain holidays as needed
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and guest relations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to service and integrity
- Food Handler Manager Certification is a huge plus
Airport Restaurant Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensuring adherence to company procedures and overseeing supervisor/employee duties
- Conducting and contributing to management meetings
- Scheduling and leading pre-shift/post-shift meetings
- Managing inventory, ordering, and stocking
- Implementing revenue-increasing strategies
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities
- Supervising and developing staff, addressing performance issues
- Creating and managing staff schedules within budget
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
