TECHNICAL ENGINEER

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques.
• Assists more senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports.
• Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
• Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
• Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Previous experience with technical services design and implementation
• MS Office Suite with strong skill in Excel and Visio
• Self-motivated, positive, have a high degree of integrity, dependable, and participate as a team member to achieve common goals with a sense of urgency.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 4+ years of related experience
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization.
• Leadership skills, to guide project teams through planning and execution.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills, especially the ability to synthesize large amounts of data involving multiple variables.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful.
• Deal with ambiguity, takes initiative/self-directed.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
• Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
