OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Regulatory/Cyber Risk Consultant focuses on regulatory and cyber risks at MagMutual, playing a pivotal role in addressing complex inquires and providing expert guidance in these critical areas. This role collaborates closely with the Customer Service team to enhance capabilities in managing and responding to regulatory compliance and cyber risk issues. As a subject matter expert (SME) in regulatory and cyber risks, the Risk Consultant provides guides through emerging concerns. Additionally, this position will assist with policy management, claims management, and customer service, ensuring comprehensive service experience.SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Maintain collaborative, professional, and consultative relationships with MagMutual clients, offering expert guidance on risk management, regulatory compliance, patient safety, policy management, billing, claims management, and other relevant areas.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert in regulatory and cyber risk, addressing inquiries and providing actionable advice to policyholders and internal teams.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, ensuring resolution, and conducting follow-up activities as necessary.
- Stay abreast of technical and professional developments in regulatory and cyber risk fields to provide current, innovative, and customer-focused consultation.
- Develop and distribute resources on regulatory and cyber risk management to enhance the team’s knowledge base and efficiency in these areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver specialized knowledge and support, ensuring high-quality responses to regulatory and cyber inquiries.
- Document and monitor all client interactions and services using appropriate systems, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a technical knowledge database to address common issues and questions related to regulatory and cyber risks.
- Serve as an internal customer service champion, ensuring clear and regular communication with key MagMutual employees on these critical areas.
- Reinforce and reflect the established precepts and strategic plans of MagMutual.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, law degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare risk management, cybersecurity, regulatory law, or related fields, with a focus on healthcare or insurance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment across multiple departments.
Location: This position can be based remotely within the U.S. or in our Atlanta, GA office. Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000Location: Atlanta Office
