Armasight
has opportunities for full-time Production Assembly. Current hours are Monday – Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. Located in Tempe, near University and AZ-143. Pay: Hourly, $18-20 per hour, DOEPerforms and completes assembly duties and responsibilities to produce a finished whole good by assembling parts and subassemblies of optical equipment for the military, law enforcement, and hunting communities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by following standard work instructions; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Positions parts in specified relationship to each other using general knowledge of product.
- Glues, screws, clips or otherwise fastens parts together using a variety of small hand tools.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains all equipment and tools in good working condition by performing daily pre-shift inspections.
- Strives to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards.
- Continually seeks to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product.
- Ability to learn a variety of different assembly stations.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
- Ability to sustain a high level of physical activity related to repetitive motion, lifting and manual dexterity of equipment and products which weigh up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions which call for multiple different actions based upon product/descriptions, product quantities, product sizes and similar information.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining production time and quality.
- Electronics and/or soldering capabilities a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
- Must be able to arrive at shift daily and on time.
- You must be a U.S. Person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
