This role will focus on supporting students in elementary (K-5th grades) and high school (9th-12th grades) settings. The ideal School Social Worker will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and community resources to enhance student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students with disabilities.- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school personnel.- Develop and implement programs to promote social skills, resilience, and emotional well-being.- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on student social-emotional needs.- Connect families with community resources and support services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement.- IDFPR License
