Location: South Holland, IL 60473Duration: ASAP - June 16th, 2024 Hourly: $43.02 - $51.21/hr Salary: $53,000 - $63,090Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM, Wednesdays until 4:15 PMCaseload: Less than 9 studentsGrade Level: 4th-5thAnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team for the remainder of the school year. This School Social Worker will work alongside a skilled and supportive colleague, focusing on the social-emotional well-being of our students. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success.
If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and have the skills to address the challenges students face, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct individual counseling sessions with students.- Provide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) push-in lessons for small groups.- Supervise and engage with students during recess.- Facilitate 1:1 lunch sessions for additional support.- Collaborate with the team to implement the Second Step program and address monthly topics.- Maintain a manageable caseload of fewer than 9 students, ensuring personalized attention and support.Qualifications:- Master’s degree in Social Work- PEL License- IDFPR License
