Job Description:


SimIS Inc seeks a visionary Senior CBRN Subject Matter Expert to spearhead our technical innovation initiatives. This role will drive the research, identification, and implementation of next-generation CBRN technologies and procedures. The ideal candidate will lead comprehensive modernization efforts, from concept development through capability delivery, ensuring our warfighters maintain technological superiority in CBRN defense.Some of the Key focuses include: Leading technical assessments of emerging CBRN technologies; Directing modernization initiatives across DOTMLPF spectrum; Developing technical specifications that shape future capabilities; Conducting sophisticated requirements analysis and validation; Guiding acquisition strategy development; Establishing technical standards for CBRN systems integration.

Experience Required:


  • Ten (10) years of progressive experience in CBRN operations with focus on technical assessment and implementation
  • Seven (7) years of specific experience in:
  • Leading technical modernization initiatives
  • Conducting advanced systems integration
  • Performing complex requirements analysis
  • Developing technical specifications for emerging technologies
  • Supporting major acquisition programs
  • Implementing JCIDS processes.
  • At least three (3) years served leading and as part of a government team supporting the USMC.

Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Nuclear Science, Engineering, or related field
  • DAU Level III certification in Engineering or Science & Technology Management
  • Expert knowledge of DOD acquisition processes and JCIDS
  • Proven track record of technical innovation leadership
  • Active SECRET clearance
