Spry Methods is on the search for a Business Architect to join our team remotely.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
- The Business Arechitect will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting user requirements to support the development of user-centric solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and analyze business and user requirements.
- Conducting user research activities, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to understand user behavior and preferences.
- Documenting findings and creating user stories, personas, and journey maps to guide product development.
- Providing insights and recommendations based on user research to improve product features and functionality.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between user needs and business goals.
- Facilitating communication between technical teams and end-users to ensure successful project delivery.
- Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Business Architecture.
- Maintenance of the key Business Architecture deliverables.
- Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business processes and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
- Business Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
- On-going publicity and communication of the Business Architecture both within the information systems community and the Business unit.
- Ongoing research and assessment of new technology for potential use within the Business unit.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Planning and Analysis Experience.
- Strong Salesforce experience.
- Proven experience in conducting user research and analyzing data.
- Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Business Architecture.
- Maintenance of the key Business Architecture deliverables.
- Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business processes and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
- Business Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
- On-going publicity and communication of the Business Architecture both within the information systems community and the Business unit.
- Ongoing research and assessment of new technology for potential use within the Business unit.
- Development of the Business Architecture.
- Coordinating all Business Architecture activities globally (Chief Business Architect).
- Developing and Coordinating Business Architecture Plans.
- Auditing compliance within the Business Architecture standards.
- Serving as an advisor to senior business management on business information integration strategies.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of usability principles and best practices.
- Experience working in a government or federal IT environment.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
- Human centric experience design skills.
- Agile Certification(s)
