Your next role as a Miracle Maker


Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our commercial team as an Inside Sales Specialist I. The Inside Sales Specialist I will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives through lead generation, client communication to close sales, technical and operational support for commercial team, and post-sales follow up. This role collaborates with other sales functions to form a cohesive lead generation to closed sale and any follow up as necessary.

Responsibilities


  • Meet quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives for GMP Services and Research Use Only product lines. This role generates critical revenue for the organization.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest using multiple databases
  • Build pipeline and assist with customer requirements across all points in the sales cycle
  • Route qualified opportunities (GMP, Supply Agreements, etc.) to the Business Development Team for further development and closure
  • Conduct prospecting activities for tradeshows and other industry events to identify potential leads. Coordinate meetings for Business Development Managers with key prospects.
  • Provide sales and technical support and quoting throughout the entire sales cycle, globally for ISS, BD, Alliance Management, and GMP
  • Log and track all client interactions through CRM (Salesforce), NetSuite, and appropriate software. Report, track,k and maintain a follow-up schedule for product open opportunities.
  • Gather all relevant information from customers for quote generation
  • Have full knowledge of the quoting process and do quoting as necessary
  • Provide effective online presentations to prospects
  • Work within a team to assist with operational sales functions
  • Provide Sales Support following up on any escalations at every point in the sales cycle
  • Attend networking events with new business contacts
  • Organize collateral and assist with marketing responsibilities at industry conferences. Travel and meet with new and current customer
  • Perform other functions and duties as required

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences
  • 1+ years life science industry experience in sales, lab, or marketing preferred
  • Proficient in Salesforce preferred
  • Professional communication proficiency with strong phone and video conferencing presence
  • Results driven with track record of over-achieving
  • Comfortable with public speaking opportunities and large group presentations
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Quick learner, Problem solving/analytical thinking
  • Agility and flexibility are a must

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,876.00 - $72,450.00. In addition, highly competitive sales incentive plan participation, long-term incentives in the form of company equity and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
