Your Role at impact.com:


As the Senior Manager of Business Development at impact.com, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our platform's reach and revenue potential. In this role, you will be responsible for selling flat-fee and growth packages for driving revenue growth for publishers. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of building and managing partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and maximizing monetization strategies to achieve business objectives. We are seeking a results-driven professional with experience working closely with both brands and publishers.

What You'll Do:


Sales Strategy and Execution:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue through Growth packages and paid placement opportunities for brands and publishers.
  • Identify and target potential clients who would benefit from customized solutions, including Growth services and paid placements.

Client Relationship Management:


  • Build and nurture strong relationships with brands and publishers to understand their goals and identify opportunities to maximize their success on the platform.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering tailored recommendations for strategic paid placements to help clients achieve measurable outcomes.

Revenue Growth:


  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by successfully closing deals for both Growth packages and paid placement opportunities.
  • Offer and sell premium services and solutions that align with publishers' needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities.

Market Research and Insights:


  • Stay updated on market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive offerings to position Impact’s solutions as the preferred choice.
  • Gather and share insights from clients to refine offerings and improve product-market fit.

Proposal Development and Pitching:


  • Create compelling sales proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the value of Growth packages and paid placement opportunities.
  • Conduct persuasive pitches and presentations tailored to the unique needs of brands and publishers.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:


  • Track sales activities and outcomes using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on progress.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve optimal results.

What You Have:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales or a related field.

  • Proven track record in brand/publisher business development within the digital media or affiliate marketing industry.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience succeeding in a goal-driven environment
  • Creative, Team-oriented, coachable, self-starter
  • Able to thrive in an evolving role while effectively achieving goals.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives that contribute to overall business growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce and project management tools (eg: Asana)

Salary Range: $120,000  - $140,000 + 25-35% variable compensation plan, per year, plus eligibility to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant. This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting.
