Project Manager – PCB Assembly Workflow Management

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and optimize the workflow in our Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly operations. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring efficient execution of projects within our electronic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, project management, and supply chain coordination specific to PCB assembly.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful PCB assembly production.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with engineering, production, procurement, and quality control teams to streamline operations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective manufacturing practices.
  • Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials required for PCB assembly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies related to electronic manufacturing.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress using KPIs and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their requirements and deadlines are met.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in electronic manufacturing, PCB assembly, or a related industry.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PCB assembly processes, manufacturing workflows, and supply chain logistics.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems, project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira), and manufacturing software.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive projects to completion.
