Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the current Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and design a migration roadmap to Google Workspace.
- Develop migration strategies, including cutover, staged, and hybrid migration approaches.
- Utilize third-party tools (e.g., Google Workspace Migrate, CloudM, BitTitan, Quest) to execute migrations efficiently.
- Ensure data integrity, minimize downtime, and handle post-migration validation.
- Configure Google Workspace services (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat, Google Meet, etc.) to align with business needs.
- Set up security, compliance, and access controls in Google Workspace, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
- Implement Google Workspace security best practices, including identity & access management, MFA, and encryption.
- Resolve migration-related issues, including authentication failures, data sync problems, and permissions mismatches.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and related M365 services.
- Deep knowledge of Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, etc.).
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Google Admin APIs.
- Expertise in mail flow, DNS settings (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and SMTP protocols.
- Experience with migration tools like Google Workspace Migrate, CloudM, BitTitan, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving email flow issues, data integrity problems, and system incompatibilities.
- Familiarity with identity management (Azure AD, Google Directory), MFA.
