This engineer in this role will be responsible for developing automated tests for robotic picking and sortation systems. This role requires working with DevOps and Software Engineering to design and build the necessary framework to run automated system test.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain automated test software for simulated environments.- Work with other SQA members to develop tools to improve physical testing.- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot issues.- Identify automatability of new features as they are being developed.- Stay abreast of new technologies and testing methodologies to continually improve the testing process.Minimum Qualifications:- 4+ years of experience in software and system testing, including automation for physical and simulated devices.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, or bash.- Previous experience with Linux, Docker and Kubernetes.- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in fast-paced environments.- Effective communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.- Knowledge of automated test frameworks.Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in testing robotic systems.- Experience with pytest.- Familiarity with Jira and TestRail.- Experience integrating automated test into CI/CD pipelines.- Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including test plan and test case development.- Practical knowledge of any of these technologies: ELK stack, Selenium, Behave, Kafka, Mongo.6210-2502DF
