What You’ll Be Doing


  • Develop and own a comprehensive product marketing strategy, crafting compelling content (sales collateral, blogs, webinars, whitepapers, training, etc.) and product messaging across the entire customer journey for commercial and government audiences.
  • Distill the power of Second Front’s products, into clear, concise messaging that resonates with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Define and articulate product positioning and value propositions that resonate with ICPs and personas.
  • Plan net-new product launches and existing product feature releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, including supporting and maintaining GTM playbooks.
  • Create Marketing Requirement Documents (MRDs) in collaboration with Product & Engineering (P&E) and Sales teams, support product launch coordination, and develop field marketing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to help drive go-to-market (GTM) success.
  • Drive PMM activities with customer obsession, ensuring that success extends beyond product launch and awareness to encompass the entire customer journey, including customer experience and end-user benefits.    
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the marketing and product teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to align on product goals, market demands, and international expansion strategies.
  • Partner closely with the Customer Success team to gather user feedback and translate it into actionable insights for the product roadmap.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for Second Front on a global scale.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and adapt your strategy for continuous improvement, ensuring maximum ROI on content efforts.

Qualifications


  • 3-5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Strong technical background, with experience in DevSecOps principles, CI/CD framework, and product-led growth strategies.
  • Experience with DevOps deployments (AWS, GCP, and Azure), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes,) and monitoring and observability tools.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, adept at crafting compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to translate complex concepts into engaging content through creative storytelling.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in product launches and marketing campaigns for startups and/or enterprises.
  • Strong bias for action, ownership mentality, and resilience in challenging situations.
  • Experience in federal/public sector software, particularly government (FedRAMP) or defense (ATO).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

$129,000 - $140,000 a yearThe base compensation for this role is $129,000 - $140,000.
