 IT Asset Manager is responsible for driving data accuracy and timely reporting related to the services offered for our clients. Specific duties include team management, client engagement, solution review, scope definition and collaboration across delivery groups. Hands on involvement in process development and metric reporting. A focus on team planning, development, morale and talent retention. Ongoing monitoring of team’s activities related to updating ticketing system, reporting and analyzing inactive user and aging reports; inventory tracking; assist in daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts; creating daily, weekly and monthly reports to track equipment receipt and disbursement, and ensure equipment assignments are properly documented.

Essential Functions: 


  • Solution support, new business modeling and staffing review
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness
  • Define measurements and KPI’s to validate quality of data and process maturity
  • Manage team utilization and guide workload balancing
  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting process breaks or data quality issues
  • Assess service maturity and opportunities for improvement
  • Able to mentor and coach/train team members
  • Provide weekly projected and current deployment numbers when necessary.
  • Review existing process collateral and look for improvements
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure successful deployments
  • Work in collaboration with other department to track movement of all assets
  • Client facing/engaging for service offering review or process modifications based on environment changes
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:


  • 8 years’ experience in IT Asset Management. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Experience managing teams
  • Proven leadership experience engaging/guiding clients
  • Working knowledge of asset management platforms/tools
  • Experience in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook), especially around access related to data manipulation or SQl skills

Abilities and Skills:


  • Must be driven, self-motivated, and a strong team player with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new solutions, programs, and ideas
  • Troubleshooting and root cause/analytical deep dive ability
  • Strong understanding of hardware configuration or software install use and discovery
  • Tool solution integrations, mappings and interdependencies.
  • Software understanding related to use and entitlements as they tie to compliance reporting
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Excellent analytical / problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
  • Strong attention to detail

Physical, Mental Requirements and Work Environment: 


  • Ability to work at a desk looking at computer screen for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand occasionally
  • Ability to walk at least 1/4 mile outdoors
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Ability to work at a warehouse environment or client site
  • Ability to lift and at least 25 lbs
