As a Founding UX Designer, you will be a key contributor to our product vision and execution.You will be the first designer in India and second UX designer overall!You will be expected to translate business requirements and product requirements into UX flows. Our users are restaurant owners and back office operators who are not the most tech savvy.At the same time, the product is fairly complex in terms of the offering and the functionalities it provides.
Your key role will be to constantly bridge this gap and build products that are intuitive and slick to use while accomplishing the complex workflows.Role expectation:The primary expectation is to own a few product lines, build whatever it takes to grow revenue for the business and think business from Day 1. We fundamentally believe that deciding what to build is a much harder skill set than how to build. The expectation is to enjoy the natural product building process and build systems that last the test of time along the way(as dictated by the business).We strongly believe that first principled thinking is a critical requirement for the role. As a company we are creating a category that did not exist, the first reaction from our customers during the demo is skepticism that something like this was possible in the first case and this is a DNA that is a must have for Loop.What We're Seeking:Must-Have:
- Strong expertise with Figma.
- 3+ years of relevant professional full-time experience as a UX/product designer ideally in fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience in building design systems, complex user flows and visual design.
- Proactive self-starter capable of independently solving problems.
- Ability to zoom out and think big picture in terms of architecture while simultaneously being able to get to granular details - seamlessly translating big picture to smaller details
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver elegant solutions
- Comfortable with ambiguity, quick decision-making, and wearing multiple hats
- Hunger to build things and get things done
Nice-to-Have:
- Some prior B2B experience preferably for a non tech savvy audience
- Some CS/tech background to understand complex business domains/technical constraints
