Edge is seeking a skilled Finance and Program Control analyst to join our team.
In this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the company. This position is on-site at 1st
Edge LLC, located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Finance
- Manage expenses by organizing, analyzing, budgeting, and reviewing all accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial standards such as GAAP and FAR
- Manage indirect rates, incurred cost submissions, and provisional rates
- Revenue forecasting
- Proposal pricing
- Interface with tax CPAs and external consultants
- Prepare and present financial reviews
- Program Control
- Create and monitor allocations of hours and dollars to personnel
- Maintain an internal labor category schedule anchored to industry standards
- Work with prime contractors to realign allocations and perform rate rolls
- Respond to prime contractors for requests for Basis of Estimates, ROMs, work authorizations, etc.
- Ensure continuity of funding for incrementally funded contracts
Essential job skills include:
- Proficiency with Intuit QuickBooks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Business Intelligence, Power Query, and DAX
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with DoD contracting accounting practices and related FAR clauses
Desired qualifications:
- Knowledge of Unanet
- Contracting knowledge in DoD
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of related experience
- You must be a U.S. Citizen and have, or be able to obtain, a secret security clearance.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
- MBA desired
