Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Prescreening Specialist (Consultant) to join our recruitment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting telephone prescreens to assess the professionalism, qualifications, and suitability of candidates for various open positions. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to assess candidates’ experience, and proficiency in using technology, including one-way video interviewing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct telephone prescreens for potential candidates to evaluate their qualifications, professionalism, and overall fit for open positions.
  • Ensure that each candidate thoroughly understands the job responsibilities, benefits, and compensation package associated with the position before moving forward in the hiring process."
  • Accurately assess candidates’ communication skills, job-related experience, and alignment with job requirements.
  • Encourage and guide candidates through the process of completing one-way video interviews, ensuring a smooth transition from telephone screening to the next phase of the interview process.
  • Write clear and concise summaries of candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for open roles for the hiring team.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure timely and efficient communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Track and manage candidates’ progress through the recruitment pipeline using applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Qualifications:


  • Strong ability to assess candidates’ professionalism and suitability for positions through verbal communication.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create accurate and concise candidate summaries.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn one-way video interview technology.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
