Overview:
Be part of a growing lifestyle brand as we build out our Production team. As Production Coordinator of Special Projects, you will support the coordination of the entire product lifecycle from initial design concept to goods being delivered in our warehouse for Special Projects. The scope of projects will include custom product for wholesale accounts, weekly “limited edition” product drops, exciting collaborations, and a growing range of licensed products. You will support the Special Projects team in the management of all product development, production, and delivery by creating and maintaining WIP reports and accurate PO records.
This role is extremely fast-paced, dynamic, hands-on, and requires a high level of collaboration between Design, Planning & Logistics, Wholesale Fulfillment, Sales Executives, and Marketing.Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain line sheets to align with product assortments.
- Setup styles in ERP system – inclusive of style numbers, color codes, and retail/wholesale pricing.
- Partner with Planning team + Marketing team to compile all buys and issue Purchase Orders
- Monitor and track status of fabric lab dip & strike off approvals, prototypes and pre-production samples
- Track status of fabric lab dip & strike off approvals, prototypes, pre-production, and marketing samples to ensure timeline is being maintained.
- Track and coordinate handoff of prototypes, preproduction, marketing samples, and TOP samples. Organize and maintain TOP archive.
- Maintain current costing and shipping status in ERP system.
Skills and qualifications you’ll need:
- BA Degree
- 3 years of apparel production experience
- Experience with ERP (such as Apparel Magic, Blue Cherry, Net Suite) and PLM systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to work in a very fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change
- Work hands-on to execute projects and manage multiple moving pieces across scope of work
- Forward-thinking and anticipate problems before they occur
- Able to problem-solve independently with little guidance, and possess ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Critical attention to details; strong organizational and time management skills
- Maintain and build effective relationships with cross-functional teams
