Overview:
As a Human Resources Business Partneryou work closely with the HR Team and business units to develop and implement best practices that support our strategic people and culture goals. As an experienced HR professional, you are comfortable solving complex problems, mediating conflict, leading, supporting and facilitating HR processes. You have advanced knowledge of HR principles and practices including understanding federal, state and local employment laws, reporting regulations affecting HR functions, coaching leaders through employee relations, performance management, career pathing, internal equity, and policy implementation.
You are a role model and resource for all of HR which includes coaching, training and mentoring others as well as providing basic work direction to department team members.
What You’ll Do:
Day in the Life – Every day you will manage your daily task including leading departmental and strategic cross-functional projects. With your experience, you have the ability to see the bigger picture and anticipate the various effects of changes on the organization. You will also lead quarterly tax reporting and reconciliation, be the back-up administrator for various compensation programs, employee stock purchase program, workers compensation, auditing/reporting HR functions for deficiencies in processes, ACA processing and approvals, NMLS coordination and annual renewals and coordinating and updating HR key processes.

What it Takes:
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business management, or 6+ years’ experience in leading various HR disciplines. Active SHRM (CP or SCP) or HRIC (PHR or SPHR) certification preferred.Advanced Excel knowledge and daily use Knowledge of and experience with: various HR disciplines, employment laws, federal HR reporting and audits, compensation analysis, workers compensation/300 reporting and auditing, analyzing data, facilitation and project management. Ability to: maintain confidentiality, get along with others, give and receive feedback, analyze and grasp information quickly, accept responsibility, organize and plan projects, achieve goals, assess needs, evaluate risk, use available resources and partnerships to solve problems, champion organizational change, advocate for the business, and work independently and as a team member. Skills in: strategic agility, organizational mindset, auditing data and maintaining database accuracy, motivating, coaching and developing others, listening, consulting, explaining, analyzing, communicating effectively (written and verbally across a diverse spectrum), making decisions, thinking critically, solving complex problems, reporting progress, and deescalating situations with team members or customers.
