Title: Preschool TeacherNazareth School, San DiegoFull-time, $22-24/hr plus benefits


As Nazareth School – San Diego’s Preschool Teacher, you will create an engaging, nurturing, and supportive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and spiritual growth. This role involves implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with California State Standards and diocese Religion Standards, nurturing a love for learning while integrating Catholic values.

What You’ll Do as the Preschool Teacher:


· Develop and implement  lesson plans aligned with CA state standards and Catholic teachings.· Create a positive, classroom culture, & maintain strong classroom management to maximize instruction time.· Adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners· Regularly collect & analyze data to inform and adjust instruction.· Use technology to accomplish learning goals & increase student engagement.· Evaluate students' academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, progress reports & report cards.· Communicate regularly with parents & guardians on students' progress.· Manage classroom behavior, & collarborate with colleagues to improve instructional  practices and share best practices   Actively participate in ongoing professional development   Praying with class at the start of the day, transitions, lunch, and end of day  Present lesson plan weekly to Preschool Director  Follow the core values of ths Sisters of Nazareth

What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Preschool Teacher:


·Possess the required Child Development credits (12 credits minimum), Bachelor's degree preferred· CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).· Experience in teaching in a preschool classroom, preferably in a Catholic setting.· Practicing Catholic with an understanding of Catholic values (preferred).· · Proven classroom management and ability to create a nurturing learning environment.· Proficiency in educational technology and strong communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues.· Ability to collaborate with staff and manage time effectively for classroom and administrative tasks.· Knowledge of health and safety protocols in preschool settings.
