OVERVIEW:


The primary function of the Corporate Dining Coordinator is to assist the Chef in preparing and serving meals to prospects, clients and other guests while ensuring a positive client experience. This position will be based out of our Philadelphia, PA office. This will be a six month temporary assignment with potential to become a permanent position. The weekly hours of the team are Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm. Fridays will be as needed. During peak time periods, you will be required to work additional hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Dining Services Coordination. Assist in serving, setting up and cleaning up all internal, client lunches and catered events. Flexibility is essential to accommodate changes that inevitably arise when dealing with events. Ensure all cafe areas and Cafe 56 are cleaned and stocked with snacks and beverages. 

Client Service:

Greet clients in a courteous, friendly manner, by name. Make them comfortable as a guest of Glenmede. Follow-up with internal staff to make sure client’s needs are being met. Communicate with Chef and Dining Coordinator if any dietary changes by clients. Assist Barista as needed.

lean-up:

Set up rooms and clean up after meetings. Ensure cleanliness and presentation of meeting rooms and client restrooms. Assist in maintain inventory of supply closet and client rooms. Assist with dishes throughout the day and after lunch is over. Assist Chef in keeping kitchen and appliances clean, secure, and in good working order. 

Firm Building:

Develop a strong knowledge of Dining and Office Services functions, policies, procedures, and best practices.  Participate in special projects and identify process improvements.  Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned and carry out all responsibilities in compliance with company policies, procedures and practices. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in food preparation, service, and presentation.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must have a client focused demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Knowledge of CRM Systems such as salesforce is preferred.
  • Barista background is helpful.

This role will require someone with the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. This role will require someone to be on their feet the majority of the day.
