In this highly visible and impactful role as a central partner to the PlayOn Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, you will manage and develop PlayOn financial reporting processes including internal, private equity investor, and bank reporting. This role will own all enterprise-level financial processes and ensure an effective and accurate comprehensive financial reporting function including consolidations, reporting, data management, and systems integration. Additionally, you will lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated cash flow forecasting models, budgets, and reporting processes. This role will collaborate with executive and senior leadership with the goal of providing actionable business insights through timely, accurate, and actionable enterprise financial information.

IN THIS ROLE YOU CAN EXPECT TO...
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide executive and senior leadership clear insight into the company's financial performance.
- Lead financial consolidations and comprehensive reporting.
- End-to-end ownership of cash flow forecasting and reporting processes.
- Lead the identification and implementation of financial system and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and forecasting accuracy and efficiency by proactively seeking out opportunities for innovation.
- Design, create, enhance, and maintain impactful dashboards and reports utilizing various data and data tools.
- Plan, organize and lead effort of comprehensive design, construction and distribution of internal financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to provide usable variance analysis of monthly results versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Serve as the enterprise finance systems expert.
- Assist in preparing materials for operating review and board meetings by working directly with executive and senior leadership.
- Provide ad hoc analytics and modeling in support of critical business decisions and special projects.
- Assist in the long-range planning (LRP) process for the organization.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, finance, and accounting teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE THESE ARE THE TALENTS YOU BRING ...
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance / FP&A, financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, Big 4, or a related field.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to working with others.
- Experience with month-end close, budgeting / forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis and modeling.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Consistent record of leading challenging priorities and addressing roadblocks with a desire to work independently amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- A strategic approach with a bias towards action, including a can-do attitude, and someone who is not afraid to dig in, uncover problems, and find solutions as a collective team.
- Strong background in data analytics with proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage and meet multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Corporate finance experience preferred.
- Professional certification (CPA, CFA, etc.) a plus.
- Familiarity with data tools and experience in SQL or other query languages a plus.
