What you will do
This position is part time, requiring 20 hours per week. As a Data Labeller, your responsibilities will include drawing bounding boxes, extracting text values, and labelling classifications on a range of document types, including identity documents, medical cards, and proof of address documents. Additionally, you will participate in tasks such as generating forged documents to enhance our detection capability for fraudulent documents and improve our testing capabilities. This role presents a unique opportunity to improve your skills in data annotation and gain experience with new tools for data labelling.
You will also:
- Draw bounding boxes around text fields on documents such as identity cards, passports, driving licenses, proof of address, and medical cards.
- Extract and accurately write values from these bounded areas, including names, addresses, dates of birth, and other pertinent information.
- Label document classifications to assist in the training of AI models for different document types.
- Participate in tampering exercises, which may include creating altered samples digitally, adding or removing characters from documents, applying stickers or shapes, changing the photo of an individual on documents (+Additional methods of document fraud)
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in English is a must, as clear communication is essential for this role.
- A strong work ethic and dedication.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and software used for annotation, drawing bounding boxes, and extracting OCR values
- Experience or familiarity with data labelling, document annotation, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with applications like Photoshop, or PhotoDemon is advantageous.

In this position, you will receive a training on the tools and methods used for annotation, drawing bounding boxes, and filling OCR values, as well as how to generate forged data and other tools to generate synthetic data.
