The Closing Team Lead performs daily tasks with a sense of urgency with the ultimate focus of meeting or exceeding closing deadlines and ensuring loan quality standards are being met and that the closing team is following the company policy and procedure.
The Closing Team Lead demonstrates a culture of execution and quality, and helps close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions. The candidate should have: • Deep understanding of mortgage loan closing procedures and regulations• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities• Proficiency with mortgage loan software and systems• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracyJob Duties: • Monitoring loan files to ensure accuracy and compliance with investor guidelines.

• Reviewing closing documents for completeness and accuracy before funding. • Identifying and resolving any potential closing issues or discrepancies. • Coordinating with title companies, escrow agents, and other parties involved in the closing process• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to optimize efficiency. • Providing reports to management on team performance and closing activity. • Assist with managing the closing team when the closer manager is not available• Monitoring loan files to ensure accuracy and compliance with investor
