ALL4 is seeking a Technician Supervisor to supervise air inspections of process equipment at local oil refineries in the Bellingham, WA, area. We have a strong commitment to safety and integrity. You will be supervising a team and reporting daily to the refinery environmental personnel. The work is day shift: Monday through Thursday, four ten-hour shifts per week; work hours are 6 am to 4:30 pm. This position is great for those looking for a new challenge and opportunity in their career.We provide full benefits including health and dental insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, retirement plan match, and the possibility of occasional overtime. 

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Conduct routine leak inspections of industrial piping and tank components.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of air quality rules and regulations.
  • Maintain good public relations with clients.
  • Report all environmental and safety issues to client.
  • Maintain all company equipment in good condition.
  • Maintain all field equipment in good condition.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, including personal habits, dress codes, and communication skills.
  • Attend all required safety meetings.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven oil refinery and supervising experience.
  • Proficient math and chemistry principles.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; proven time management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience/training in VOC monitoring (LDAR) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and refinery inspection and maintenance procedures preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting heavy materials.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight and weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to work in industrial settings, outdoors, and/or at elevated heights.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • TWIC card.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test.

This job operates on site at commercial and industrial facilities. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information and/or use a keyboard. The employee must frequently lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds and occasionally more than 25 pounds. While performing duties on site, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and loud noises. Travel is also required to and from on-site work.
