The Gist…


Our Deputy Project Manager will provide daily oversight and guidance of our USDC team. You will be instrumental in ensuring that they are well trained and are able to meet project deliverables.

What Your Day Might Include…


  • Provide daily oversight and guidance to the USDC team. 
  • Ensure alignment of team activities with the goals of the government functional area lead.
  • Mentor and develop team member skillsets to continuously improve program delivery.
  • Create and maintain standardized outreach documents and templates, in collaboration with senior staff.[EC1] 
  • Conduct quarterly check-ins and document in Paylocity journals. 
  • Engage directly with program teams, fellow experience supervisors, the L&D lead, and fellows to provide administrative support as needed and build strong working relationships across teams
  • Contribute to multiple workstreams including communications, L&D coordination, onboarding and orientation, feedback collection, performance management and reviews, in person, hybrid, and virtual events,  and project management 
  • Support the development of internal standard operating procedures, ad hoc process guides, resources, and templates.[EC2]  
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic communication plans to provide updates and announcements to Fellows and USDC partners.
  • Support internal team communications, ensuring that decisions and announcements flow down from leadership to the program team. Escalate issues to the Amivero program manager for discussion with USDC leadership awareness.
  • Communicate issues to USDC leadership in collaboration with the Amivero program manager.
  • Onboard new team members and provide functional training in collaboration Amivero Program Manager. 
  • Collect and deliver the monthly activities report to the program manager for all Amivero USDC team members.
  • Review and approve bi-weekly timesheets for their direct reports.

Requirements

You’ll Bring These Qualifications…


  • US Citizenship Required to obtain Public Trust
  • Bachelor Degree + 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading and managing small team
  • Strong communications and employee relations skills
