Linux Engineer at Gray Tier Technologies

Gray Tier Technologies is looking for a Linux Engineer to support one of our Defense customers in Fort Belvoir Virginia. The position requires a Secret Clearance and is a hybrid role.

Linux Engineer

Basics:

• At least a Secret clearance (DoD would be best)• Sec+ CE or equivalent• Red Hat/Linux cert (Linux+, LPI, RHCSA)

Skills:

• Experience with Red Hat Linux, including familiarity with the LVM stack and SELinux• Ability to use Windows desktops and preferably some Windows server experience• Experience with applying STIGs Experience with patching (Satellite and repos)

Nice to have skills:

• Experience using/configuring Ansible• Experience using/configuring Jira and Atlassian products• Experience with BIND Experience with ELK/SPLUNK/ArcSight or other log aggregation software• Experience with databases
