DSFederal Inc, is seeking for Policy and Project Manager to lead impactful initiatives that support NIH’s data-sharing policies. This role requires a unique blend of bioethics, biomedical science, project management and data analytics expertise to drive policy analyses and development, to ensure the protection of human subjects, and promote the ethical use of data in research. As part of the DSPI team, you will oversee the work of cross functional teams and help shape strategies that foster a culture of transparency, integrity and collaboration across NIH research efforts.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Lead and execute qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform data sharing policy and strategy decisions.· Oversee audits of data-sharing projects to ensure compliance, accuracy, and data integrity across multiple NIH systems. · Draft clear, comprehensive policy guidance for internal stakeholders and program officials to support data-sharing activities. · Provide guidance on development SOPs while supporting operational improvements and customer/stakeholder support activities related to enhancing ethical implementation of NIH data sharing policies.· Design and facilitate distribution of training, compliance and informational materials based on understanding of NIH data sharing policy landscape and protection of human subject data· Collaborate closely with key NIH stakeholders to ensure alignment of data sharing practices with regulatory and ethical standards. · Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, and ensure timely delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams. · Lead and facilitate various team meetings, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure that project timelines and goals are met. · Ensure meeting agendas, notes, and minutes are properly documented and archived · Conduct reviews, analysis of guidance documents, and generate reports and presentations for leadership on data-sharing progress and challenges.Requirements
Technical Skills Required:
· Strong background in bioethics, biomedical science, and/or data analytics.· Proven experience supporting activities, processes, and reviews of scientific research data, particularly involving human subjects, and understanding of research integrity issues (including familiarity with IRB and similar compliance bodies).· Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. Ability to independently complete quantitative analyses· Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders · Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines· Strong project management experience and keen attention to detail, with a working knowledge of SCUM or PMP frameworks. · Expert user of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Teams Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with Qualtrics and data visualization software preferred
Experience Required:
· Experience working in human subject’s protections, work with a Human Research Protections Program (HRPP), Institutional Review Board (IRB), or other regulatory or compliance body is a key advantage.·
Education Required:
· Required: Bachelor· Desired: Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral degree in Public Health, Bioethics, or relevant scientific discipline), experience and coursework in bioethics strongly preferred ·
