Job Description


Job Summary:


As Northrop Realty’s Brokerage Temporary Support Representative/Courier you exude a professional and customer-centric attitude and easily engage with potential customers, existing clients, and our team. Your timely, safe, and efficient transportation of our mail and packages keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently, and your handyworkhelps our offices shine. Your attention to detail ensures that office tasks are completed on time and with the desired results.


Essential Functions:

  • Monitors Northrop’s moving trucks and truck keys.
  • Manages company lockboxes and ensures they are all functioning and available to all offices.
  • Assists with minor repairs and cleaning in the offices which may include but is not limited to hanging artwork and putting together furniture.
  • Ensures safe and timely pick-ups and delivery of intraoffice mail/packages when applicable.
  • Assists the Leadership Team and Client Care Coordinators with real estate transaction tasks such as putting up and removing text riders, meeting appraisers, inspectors, contractors, and potential clients as requested.
  • Works closely with Office Administrators, Director of Administration, Facilities Manager, and Metro area Helpdesk Specialist.
  • Lives the Northrop Values.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 


  • None.

Qualifications


Required Skills/Abilities: 


  • Excellent people skills and interpersonal savvy: ability to engage at all levels of the organization including the Executive level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes; ability to use navigational systems. 
  • Strong ability and willingness to follow safety, traffic, and transportation procedures, policies, or laws.
  • Strong knowledge of standard automotive and medium duty truck trade and repair practices.

Education and Experience: 


  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Demands:


  • Must be able to lift, lower, carry, and pull/push up to 30 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to bend and stoop.  

Travel Required:


  • Must be willing and able to travel.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
