Mayflower Cruises & Tours, a national tour company located in Lisle, IL and a division of Scenic, USA is looking to hire a Transportation Manager.Do you love travel and adventure? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Transportation Manager at Mayflower Cruises and Tours.We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Transportation department. In this role, you will manage a variety of transportation services, including motorcoach transportation for tours and local airport transfers for travelers.

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations of the Transportation department, including Motorcoach transportation for tours and local airport transportation for travelers
Supervising transportation staff, including coordinators, drivers, dispatchers, boarding representatives and schedulers
Obtaining quotes from motorcoach companies and securing contracts
Researching transportation routes for traveler transfers
Managing driver usage of fuel credit cards
Managing van rentals for local transfers (to/from airports and to/from Motorcoaches)
Invoice payments for motorcoaches, rental vans and other vendors
Creating and maintaining reports in Excel and Centaur (our reservations system) for various transportation purposes
Reviewing and approving transportation employees’ time and attendance and payroll in ADP
Work as a team member with other staff within the department and company
Assist with any other related projects as needed

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of the IL, IN and WI areas
Intermediate or above skills with MS Office Suite, Outlook, Word and Excel
Travel or transportation industry, or administrative experience preferred
Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
Ability to assist with customer issues evenings and/or weekends
